Healing Karma Through Compassion in Action
Through the work of the Hamilton-Parker Foundation, Jane and I are committed to supporting meaningful social service projects in India.

An AI composite picture of some of the work we are doing, feeding people and helping the poor.

Over the years, this has included:

  • Feeding impoverished villagers
  • Gifting cows to elderly people so they can earn a sustainable livelihood
  • Supporting orphanages
  • Distributing clothing to families in need
  • Assisting sadhus (holy men) living in hardship
  • Contributing to temple restoration projects

Much of this work has been personally funded by Jane and me, alongside generous contributions from our supporters and friends of the Foundation. Every donation is treated with care and directed toward practical, tangible help.

Compassion in Action

Whenever possible, I travel to India to personally oversee aspects of this work — organising food distributions, visiting villages, and ensuring aid reaches those who genuinely need it.

We also collaborate with trusted local contacts who help facilitate projects responsibly and transparently.

One particularly moving example was when we funded emergency heart surgery for an Indian Naadi reader whose life was in immediate danger. The operation was successful, and today he continues his work — a reminder that sometimes charity is not abstract; it is life itself.

Social Service as a Spiritual Remedy

The philosophy behind this work is deeply influenced by the Naadi teachings.

According to these ancient traditions, when we become aware of karmic challenges — whether from this life or previous ones — transformation requires action. Spiritual remedies may include mantra, ritual, prayer, or meditation. But one of the most powerful remedies is service.

Acts of generosity — feeding the hungry, supporting the vulnerable, protecting life — are not merely charitable gestures. They are karmic remedies.

Service purifies intention. Compassion shifts destiny. Giving creates alignment.

Helping others uplifts both the receiver and the giver. It creates a cycle of healing that benefits everyone involved.

This video shows some examples of our work in India. You can also watch our professionally made video called Mystic Journey to India that shows our work as a spiritual adventure.

How This Work Is Supported

Some of the funds come directly from Jane and me.

Additional support comes from:

  • Theatre events and public appearances
  • Donations from supporters
  • Contributions connected to our spiritual centre

Every act of support contributes to something practical and real.

A Shared Mission

This work is not about publicity. It is about responsibility.

If we speak about spiritual growth, karma, and higher awareness, then that must express itself in action. Spirituality without compassion is incomplete.

Through the Hamilton-Parker Foundation, we aim to bring together spiritual insight and practical service — healing both lives and, perhaps, souls.
