KNOCK, KNOCK. WHO’S THERE?
There’s been a strange knocking sound in our bedroom that’s been occurring for over six months. But it only ever happens once my husband is asleep. If I wake my husband the noise stops and will not start again until he’s back to sleep. We have lain awake for ages waiting for it to start again, but it never happens when my husband is awake.
Sometimes it happens only once or twice and at other times, it will go on all night. For a long time, I just ignored it but now it troubles me.
In my stupidity, I started to ask questions. If the answer is yes, it knocked in a certain way, if the answer no then it simply wouldn’t knock. It says that it is my grandfather who I was very close to in life and that he is watching over me. I have told it to go away and leave me alone because it now makes me extremely frightened. What should I do?

I think that you are letting yourself get into a state over what is most probably nothing at all. Most houses creek a bit at night as things get colder and contract. This accounts for most creepy sounds. It is true that the spirit world can communicate by knocks and raps but I do not think that this is the case here. By having a knock for yes and silence for no you are bound to get an answer to questions- but it’s not coming from the spirit world. It’s your imagination.
