and breeds of animals we respond to. For example, if you're an intrepid
Leo you're unlikely to be drawn to boring creatures like tortoises. You

Sagittarians
make good lawyers and will fight for the rights of the individual So it's
not surprising to learn that many of you are also campaigners in the fight
to end cruelty to animals and ban experimentation on animals. You treat
your pets as individuals in their own right.
But you
also like your own freedom so it's important that the pets you keep are
not a burden. For example parrots need almost constant companionship so
this is not for you but a budgie is friendly, easy to care for and inexpensive.
An independent
cat that has plenty of character will also suit you. I recommend something
simple such as a Tabby or a Tortoiseshell which are friendly and easy to
maintain. They are generally robust and healthy. Similarly with dogs it's
probably best for you to go for the more popular breeds such as Labradors,
Springers and Collies all of which are sociable and don't require specialist
diets etc.
But you
really come into your own with horses. These are your native animal being
the symbol, or at least half the symbol, of your zodiac sign. Many Sagittarians
are keen riders. You will enjoy this but may sometimes find the commitment
of ownership a little arduous. Sagittarius also rules hunted animals so
