IS
THERE SEX IN THE AFTER LIFE?
This
question is one that puzzles a lot of people and it is true
that we will not have sex in the way that we understand
it when we are in spirit. The sex act is a purely physical
act used for the procreation of children. However, when
two people are in love it becomes more than just a physical
act, it is a mental act, an emotional act and even a spiritual
act.
While we may
no longer have the desire for the physical act as we will
have left our physical bodies behind, we will still have
a body in which our spirit and our consciousness still lives.
The affection and great love we may have for a person will
still look to have expression and an expression of love
can, and does take place. Spirit guides tell us that it
is more a blending of minds rather than bodies and in that
blending we really do become as one with each other and
the sensations, emotions etc will take us into a state of
ecstatic bliss.
So no, we don't
have physical sex, but that is replaced with something which
is above and beyond our physical understanding at the moment
but which will be more fulfilling, uplifting and spiritual
than the physical sex act ever can be.

SEX AND YOGA
I am young and single and quite sexually active. I would like to consider embarking on a more spiritual life and in particular would like to seriously take up yoga and meditation. However, I am put off by the attitudes of those who say that in order to make progress you have to give up sex altogether. For me this would be a living hell.

Sex, properly channeled and of a pure type, can send prana energy through the spinal channel and revitalises the chakras (psychic centres) connected with the spine. The source of sexual energy in yoga is called the Vyana, located in the male prostrate centre. Few modern day 'Masters' recommend total sexual abstinence.
