The Compassionate Friends' aim is to provide support and
friendship for bereaved parents (including grandparents and
siblings) of any age and however long ago the bereavement
occurred. Callers will be put in touch with a local contact
where possible who will provide support in person or by telephone
and can introduce them to a local group where appropriate.
They will also be sent relevant leaflets and a newsletter.

SupportLine is a telephone helpline which provides confidential
emotional support to children, young adults and adults on
any issue. Some of the issues which they receive calls on
relate to relationships, family problems, child abuse, eating
disorders, exam stress, self harm, bullying, domestic violence,
sexuality, rape and sexual assault, adult survivors of abuse,
depression, mental health, anger and stress. They also keep
details of other agencies, support groups and counsellors
throughout the UK and can refer callers to sources of help
in their immediate area and specific support groups when required.

This is a registered charity with national cover. They aim
to offer support via a telephone helpline to anyone affected
by the death of a child. They offer a listening and befriending
service including one to ones. They are open to anyone. The
Helpline is staffed by bereaved parent volunteers who are
supported by a professional team. The helpline is not a counselling
service.
Anyone affected by the death of a child of any age, from
pre-birth to adult including parents, brothers and sisters,
grandparents and other relatives; friends, teachers and emergency
service staff and healthcare professionals are welcome.
