My dog passed away at 4am, i wanna know if i will see her when i die or not? hopefully she will contact me in the chat.

I am sorry to hear of your loss,
Losing a pet is painful, I am sure many will understand your pain.
When you pass your dog will be there waiting for you because you have and do love her.
It is said that when animals pass they return to a universal animal conciousness, but with pets, because we love them, they become part of our circle of life and therefore are waiting for us when we pass. We give them an individuality (and they give us love) that they would not have received in the wild, and therefore they become part of our circle of love and life.
Even though a medium would be able to pick up on the love and closeness of your beloved dog, your dog would not be able to communicate verbally as they don't suddenly develop the power to talk when in spirit, they are still our beloved pets. In saying this I am sure that your dog will be happy to show herself to a medium, during a reading that you receive when a loved one comes through, to give you the knowledge that she continues to live and awaits you when your time comes.

I don't want another dog because it wont be her and it will make me feel like i don't care about her but my dad wants another, he said maybe right away we should get one but noway! you will get attatched and 10 years down the road it will die! and i've already had my share of deaths...22 years old and 28 deaths already (26 deaths in 11 year span when i was at this house me and another guy call cursed even tho be4 the 11 years it was fine).


btw when animals die (not pet animals) they are reincarnated right away to another animal? interesting...but my dog has a long ways to wait, i'm only 22! but then again time in the spirit world is different then our time as i've read. I may not live a full life either, so who knows. One thing i know with all my heart is i am missing her terribly and i love her!

Would my dog be at rainbow bridge? i know it's just a poem but it should be real...my dog waits there for me and in the meantime she is fully restored although my dog hates other dogs and tries to attack them but i'm sure her spirit would be different as it's her dog side, not her spirit side. Like a guy who likes killing would change because that's his human side, not his spirit side.

none of us really know what it will actually be like ................
but - i too have lost a well loved ( four legged ) friend, more like a member of the family! as myself said what keeps us all joined here ( or there) is the love link, and since i know they wait for us - i would honestly like to believe in the rainbow bridge.
All spirit is precious but our pets are so special to us I dont see why they cannot have their own special place, where they can have a time of fun and freedom whilst they wait.
and since i believe in this i must also say there must be all sorts of friends there - maybe they have a rule - that there is no fighting !

what has been said about them " coming through " to a medium is true. although we understand them in this life - they cannot actually talk, so they ( alone ) cannot connect with a medium however I have known spirit to contact their loved ones with their beloved pets next to them so we do know that their loyalty remains true - and we do get to meet up again.

So sorry for the loss of your pet. I am going to relate something that happened to me that I hope helps you. The second time I attended a Spritualist Church I was asked to do the meditation. I was sitting up front facing the congregants and my eyes went wide. The Reverand noticed this (I think she knew what was going on) and asked me so I whispered in her ear. At the end of the service when spirit was given the Reverand asked me to say what I saw. What I saw was quite a few spirit dogs come into the room and sit next to people. I told the first person what dog I saw and she verified she had that type of a dog. Then, to my surprise, I saw a spirit person with the dog, and they too were verified. This went on for about 5 people, each animal was with a loved on of the person in spirit. This to me was proof that our loving pets are not only in spirit but come alongside our loved ones. I am so sure that when it comes our time to pass on to spirit, our wee loved ones will cross the rainbow bridge to greet us.

It does, thanks! i dont think there is any spiritual churches around my area...British Columbia, Canada on an island in the pacific ocean. There is SO much evidence there is an afterlife but no way to prove it to everyone. I'll start the new year with another dog, another lab dog...maybe another chocolate lab! (she was a chocolate lab pittbull cross) when i die every person i knew who passed and every animal will be waiting all bunched together, eh? sofar that list is HUGE because i had an 11 year span where 25+ people died...it didn't really effect me because the amount but it's been years since another death happened untill now. I'm glad she's happy and running free and when i die it will be a good thing i'm dead because a human could not suffer the emotion without dieing that i will have.

Hiya coke-a-cola, Sorry to hear about your loss, A few itc researchers i know have captured many images of animals on the otherside.

I know Charlie is dead but i still feel as if she's here...i have her as my desktop backround, her ashes are here, still talk to her (i kiss her urn sometimes), and i can feel her still around and that's what is keeping me feeling great (still sad that she's gone of course), is it her and she's still here or is it me not wanting to let go even though i know she's dead and look at my desktop every day alot thinking about her having this feeling? i then look at her ashes but sometimes still feel as if she was still around, is it possible maybe she IS? it's just been happening recently, like the last few days. I'm thinking it's just me not wanting to let her go even though i know she's gone....the feeling is so real!!!!! and when i say real i mean REAL! i'm starting to not feel as sad and the feeling is like overtaking me now! maybe i need professional help, i don't wanna be a crazy person or anything but maybe the shock was so hard and my love for her was so hard it's turning me into thinking what's nomore to is still around. I know you will say she's always here and she is but the feeling is too real! and i've never felt something so real in my life.

you are still grieving for the loss. it doesn't matter that it was a pet, you loved and still love your beloved friend. When we lose someone ( and i include animals in someone cos they are that close) we go through stages that eventually bring us to the point when we can think of them in memory without the hurting. This loss is still very fresh for you and you will be thinking very much about this.

I have heard of people still feeling their pets close to them - which if this happens - must be of some relief and help to thse who need it, if this is what you are feeling take comfort from it and continue along the path you need to remember your friend in the days that bring you the most happiness

Please tell me she will see her family aswell? i'd hate for her not to see her mother or father again although she hasn't since she was a pup. I'd not want her to wait for me to die to see me again without seeing her family, that's just cruel!

I am very sorry for your lost.
I myself have lost many pets since I was young.
but they are def. still around me.
i lost two cats I had since i was a baby
within the past 2years.. charlie & whiskers. I was devastated.
but i did have a dream.. that they crawled up into bed with me.
it was soo realistic, it took my breath away. i woke up
petting my blanket.

recently i awoke in the middle of the night..
and saw a cat playing on the couch with my bf's mother while she was sleeping.
it was so real i thought to myself ( oh don't tell me she got a cat now!? geez we have 2 big dogs thats enough)
i ran to the bathroom and when i came out there was def. no cat there.
but i swore i saw it, it wasnt a 'dream' because i was laying awake in bed for at least 15min before I
hauled my ass up. hahahha.

soo now i def. believe that past pets and the spirits of animals are
always around us.

my own mother swears at night sometimes she feels like cats are
walking around on the bed.. and she reaches out looking for sweetie (our current cat)
and shes no where in sight.

i do not know if animals are reincarnated.
i personally don't believe they are..
but regardless they will come and visit you.
I promise. just keep your eyes open.

I hear noises in my house sometimes now, 4 days i believe it was after my dog had died i heard a sniffing sound and the sound of her toe dragging on the ground. I dunno though...maybe i wasnt hearing the sounds before because she was around and the house felt alive, now it's all quiet and hearing these strange sounds. Her picture is still on my desktop. it's been over 2 weeks i guess i should let this thread die now.

Hi I think we will see our pets. Here's why. My mother took my grandmother's dog Bonnie home to live with her and my dad after my grandmother died. A few years later, I had a dream that I was with my current dog waiting for an appointment at the vets by my grandmother's house where we used to go when I was little. My grandmother walked in with her dog Bonnie, and I was surprised to see her and asked her what she was doing there. She didn't answer, and I woke up. A few days later I talked to my mom who told be that Bonnie had died in her sleep. I really think that my grandmother was waiting for her dog and that they are together.
