The Spirit of Diana Television Programme.
The True Account of the Seances
By: Paul Sharratt, Executive Producer
It
is a cold evening in London as a well-rehearsed television
crew put their final touches to The Livery Hall of the Stationers
Guild. This historic venue has housed many Royal events since
its first construction more than four hundred years ago, but
none has been as unusual as the occasion this evening. In
the passageways that lead from Ludgate Hill through to the
courtyard of the Stationers Guild, the crew quietly fine-tune
the sound and lighting ready for the first guests to arrive.
The atmosphere is quiet and full of apprehension as the last
small items of equipment are put in place. The rig has been
quite difficult as the lighting director wants to preserve
the oak paneled atmosphere, but highlight the flags of the
ancient orders of chivalry that surround the walls, and meet
at the Minstrel gallery that fills the one end of the room.
At the other end of the high roofed hall stands the stained
glass window that overlooks St.Pauls Cathedral, and
joins this room to the place that saw Princess Diana during
her most vivacious and happy moments . The producer calls
for the venue to be cleared and the crew break before the
taping of this event will commence. Everyone wears identification
as it is expected that media will attempt to gatecrash the
taping and requests from all media to attend have been completely
denied . Senior executive staff, research staff, and make-up
remain on duty as six security officers are briefed, and warned
that no-one is to be admitted to any of the Livery Halls until
the conclusion of the recording except those listed and authorized.
To preserve the integrity of the program, only the head of
research knows who will sit around the tables, and the mediums
Craig and Jane Hamilton Parker will remain at their Hotel
until their cars are instructed to bring them to the venue.
One hour before roll-tape an attractive young
blonde women is passed by security and enters the outer room.
Only the Executive Producer is told, she is Louise Carr-Reed,
the personal and Private Secretary to Princess Diana and the
women who spent almost every day working with the Princess
during the last twelve months of her life. Tonight, she is
here to help us in our quest for THE SPIRIT OF DIANA.
As she goes to make-up, other guests begin to arrive. Tom
Corby, member of the Royal Press Corp who accompanied the
Royal Family on so many overseas trips. James Thurlow, in
charge of food at Kensington Palace, and who worked on a daily
basis with Diana as they planned the parties and functions
attended by friends and important guests from around the world.
Gerard W. Kenny, who wrote with Alan Lerner the lullaby for
the Prince. It is quickly becoming apparent that this is indeed
to be a get-together of some of Dianas closest friends
and confidantes. It is also clear that not only close friends,
but also those who were affected by the kindness and caring
of Diana in her everyday life, will be represented. Philip
Godfrey-Knight, whose partner died of AIDS, and with whom
The Princess spent time comforting the patient and holding
the hand of his partner at his saddest moment. Lynde Francis
from the Childrens Clinic in Zimbabwe who watched Diana
nurse the dying babies and who will later recount, They
did not know who the Princess was, but they knew she was someone
very special who had traveled across the world because she
really cared for these helpless children. When she died,
the children cried for their Princess. |
At this time the people who were to sit around the tables
were introduced to each other and we were informed that the
car bringing the first of our psychics was approaching the
Hall. Professor Cirian OKeefe of Liverpool University,
who studies psychic phenomena, is now watching carefully.
Not to trick us, but to be able to report that this séance
was conducted in a genuine and credible manner. Jane had requested
that she not meet he group before entering the candle-lit
room and so the guests were now seated in the smaller of the
two rooms. Jane arrives and after make-up check is escorted
to the darkened room by the Producer and Executive Producer.
She sits for a while appearing to be moving into a trance,
then with a smile welcomes the guests. They pray together
that Princess Diana will join them from the spirit world.
A cheerful exchange begins between those who knew and loved
the Princess, and the words of the medium passing messages
with great confidence to those around. Tears as Jane recounts
events in Zimbabwe and passes on messages naming friends and
events. Can we be talking to the Spirit of Diana? Only you
can judge. The gathering finishes at it began, with a prayer,
and as Jane finishes her séance, Craig Hamilton-Parker
arrives by car. He again has not met his guests, does not
know who they are, and has at his own request no knowledge
of the matters discussed at Janes eventful meeting.
Craigs circle also brought forward some amazing discussions.
As quickly as it all began, we were left alone in the expanse
of these historic walls to contemplate what we had seen. The
crew again moved quickly into action. The next day, we would
all travel to Paris and prepare in a small room overlooking
the Eiffel Tower and directly across the river from the Alma
Tunnel. Patricia Bankins, the Californian Trance Channel to
attempt to reach Diana in the City which will forever be linked
with the tragic accident that took from us the caring and
healing Diana.
Those who loved The Princess Diana will have their affection
renewed by this program which explores the Spiritual side
of Dianas life. It will answer many questions and explain
why Diana reached out, in her moment of need, to the psychic
world. Hear about Dianas great efforts to learn to heal
the sick, her belief in the afterlife, and her attempts to
help so many in need.
