Did psychics foresee Global Warming?
UK Psychic, Craig Hamilton-Parker,
gives his views and predictions for the future about what will happen to the
Environment in the year 2000 and beyond. It is interesting to see how many of these have now come to pass.

PREDICTION MADE 1999
Questions raised: What will happen to the environment? Will there be calamitous changes to the weather?

Future Predictions: THE ENVIRONMENT
I choose this
topic first because it is the area that I fear for the most. In 1984 I sat
with Peter Close an excellent trance medium and I was able to ask his spirit guide 'Rama' about the future. He
told me that there would not be a nuclear war between the super powers but
that Russia and America would become allies. Instead there would be a war
with Iraq, which would draw the world into danger but would not bring about
wholesale devastation.
The spirit guide went on to say that what we should
fear most was the damage being done to the environment for this would bring
with it many problems. However he gave a word of hope because of the global
nature of the problems ahead. The shared difficulties would bring the governments
and the people's of the world together and herald a Golden Age.
This prophecy
was made at a time when nobody could have foreseen the fall of the Berlin
Wall or the threat of Sadam.
AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINEEE PREDICTIONS
Prophecies
handed down from generation to generation of the Australian aboriginal Elders
warned of troubles ahead for the environment. Guboo Ted Thomas, Australian
Aboriginal Tribal Elder says "You see, that's really what's going to
happen to the earth. We're going to have tidal waves. We're going to have
earthquakes. That's coming because we don't consider this land as our Mother.
We've taken away the balance, and we're not putting it back. I look at the
bush, and those trees are alive. They're not dead, they're alive. And they
want you to cuddle them."
EDGAR CAYCE PREDICTIONS
Some of the
most worrying environmental calamities have been forecast by the American
prophet Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) who made many predictions that have come true.
Whilst in a sleep like trance Cayce told his followers that there would be
a shift of the earth's polar axis. Our planet would tilt bringing with it
great flooding and seismic activity. The prelude to this would begin from
1998 onward when there would be a considerable increase in volcanic activity
and earthquakes. He also prophesied that the Sphinx had been built in 10,500
BC and that survivors of Atlantis had concealed beneath it a "Hall of Records" containing all the
wisdom of their lost civilisation and the true history of the human race.
A new chamber
was found in the Great Pyramid that has yet to be opened and we have recently
witnesses many dreadful earthquakes in places such as Turkey.
SPIRITUALIST PREDICTIONS
The
most famous Spiritualist was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle who sat with many trance
and physical mediums and listened to what they had to say about the future. He concluded that there
will be a short period of chaos followed by some reconstruction; the total
period of upheavals will be roughly three years following the great floods.
The chief centres of disturbance will be the Eastern Mediterranean basin,
where not less than five countries will entirely disappear. Also in the Atlantic
there will be a rise of land which will be a cause of those waves which will
bring about great disasters upon the Americans, the Irish and Western European
shore, involving all of the low-lying British coasts.
MY PREDICTIONS (MADE 1999)
CRAIG'S
FORECAST: I'm not so sure of the
polar shift but it's clear that we are going to see many problems ahead with
the destruction of the environment and massive changes to weather conditions. Scientists say that the earth's magnetic
pole may reverse as it has done through history but this is a big difference
to a tilt of the earth's axis that would probable wipe out most of the life
on this planet.
However, I
do believe that there will be great changes to the environment particularly
because of the rising sea levels. I can still remember a dream I used to have
as a child of rowing through a still sea and seeing Big Ben jutting out from
beneath the waves. My gut feeling tells me that it will be a slow process
and will give us enough time to make the difficult adjustments to our society.
In the short term I feel that we must all act now to stop this prophecy coming
to pass. |
