When a free reading is taking place the medium who has been selected to work may be drawn to one of the chatroom visitors. Then he or she will give some proofs to verify who is communicating from the spirit. Once the spirit communicator is established the medium will then give you some evidence to verify that it is them. This may for example be some facts that only you and the spirit person knows about. To conclude the medium will probably explain the reason they have made the connection and then give a message of comfort from your loved one in spirit.
