Your mother probably called you a 'little monkey' for people born under the sign of Gemini are always up to mischief. If monkeys and chimps weren't such a difficult pet to keep they would be your best pet choice. Just like you they are quick-witted, humorous and intelligent. If you choose a dog as your monkey substitute it will have to be bright and full of nervous energy- just like you. You'd get on well with border collies, retrievers or even a St Bernard. And being the sign of the twins you would of course love to own a pair of Scottie dogs.

Cleaver cats are also in order. Your low boredom threshold means that you need an animal that's entertaining so your feline friend has got to be as bright as a button. Tabbies are considered fairly intelligent and are good mousers as well.
