GOD DISCUSSION – discussions about God
Our community tries to encourage spirituality and of course we inevitably also like to have discussions about God. However, because many of the people on this website come from a Spiritualist and mediumistic or New Age background it can sometimes infuriate fundamentalist Christians. We are unlikely to allow discussion about Hell and Damnation.
SPIRITUAL TALK ABOUT GOD
We like to talk about God from a spiritual point of view and not one based upon quoting Holy books or fixed religious beliefs. We encourage discussion about your own personal search for God. For some this may be a direct inner experience that comes through contemplation and meditation or through a powerful inner experience that has moved the person to the very chore of their being.
We take the viewpoint – expressed nicely by an Indian Guru who says:
There is only one religion - the religion of love
There is only one language - the language of the heart
There is only one caste - the caste of humanity
There is only one God, and he is omnipresent.
DISCUSSIONS ABOUT GOD IN CHAT ROOM
Discussions about God can often get out of hand because fanatics want to shout about their BELIEFS rather than their SEARCH. If you join the discussions – particularly in the chat areas – then please be aware that you may be removed if you replace friendly discussion with preaching.
GOD DISCUSSION FORUMS
In our forums we allow posting about God that can be discussed through the threads. You will be able to start a discussion thread about your religious and spiritual beliefs and others may come to join your discussion thread. This makes for interesting debate and hopefully will help our visitors to come closer to an understanding of the divine. We do not however like it if people hijack a debate and lead it into a direction that is not intended by the original thread. Please keep religious discussion to the specific threads set up to debate God issues. We respect ALL faiths as equally valid ways of reaching God.
GOD DISCUSSION BLOGS
When you register as a member you also have the option to start your own blog. You are welcome to use these to talk about your spiritual views in detail. We allow all faiths as well as atheists and non-believers.

This is a spiritual community. We have no agenda to convert anyone to Spiritualism or any other religion. We hope we can help you to find God both in your head and your heart and will join us in a spirit of Non-violence to others and mutual respect for different viewpoints.
