GHOST OF PILOT
YOUR GHOST STORIES AND QUESTIONS
I'm sure that
the old, oak beamed house that I used to rent rooms at is haunted.
One night I saw, stood in front of me, the ghostly figure of man dressed
in an airman's uniform from the Second World War. It was so clear:
he wore a short brown bomber jacket, a flat cap, light trousers but
his collar was turned up so that I couldn't see his face. I screamed
out in terror.
The landlady knew the ghost.
It was her husband who had died 18 months before. He had been an airman
and continued to wear a brown bomber jacket throughout his life. At
the end he suffered from leukaemia. This made him feet the cold so he
would always wear his collar turned up. It obscured much of his face.

Although the ghost frightened you, your experience must have brought
comfort to your landlady. The detail of his visual communication
provides enough proof to indicate to her that her loved one survived
bodily death- which, of course, we all do. Your terror was her comfort. |
