STOP CLOCK

As I was watching TV I glanced at the battery operated wall clock an noticed that it had stopped at 8.45 p.m. I made a mental note to buy a new battery.

Later that evening I went into the front room and noticed that the battery operated clock on the top of the TV had also stopped at exactly 8.45 p.m. I thought this strange. The following day I received a phone call saying that a good friend of mine had unexpectedly died the previous evening. The time of his death was exactly 8.45 p.m.
Coincidence, or was she telling me of her passing?

I can hear the sceptics say "You bought the batteries at the same time so it's likely that the clocks would stop together". But they haven't read the dozens of our readers' letters that describe exactly the same thing happening to them. I can't believe that this is just coincidence.

EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY

My little daughter passed away with meningitis many years ago. One evening my thoughts turned to her and I wondered how she looked now she had grown in the spirit world. To my amazement I saw her photograph, that hung in the lounge, change into that of a young woman. My blond haired little girl now looked like a mixture of my mother and me. This was not a momentary passing vision- the picture stayed like that for over twenty minutes!

They say that when a child dies it's soul grows to adulthood in the afterlife. Some psychics, such as Ted Serios from Chicago, have the ability to imprint images on photographic film under laboratory conditions by a psychokinetic technique called thoughtography. Your experience was probably of a visionary nature- unless of course others saw the photograph change as well.

MY SPOOKY TABLE

Beside my bed I have a heavy table. Every night for two or three years it would move about four inches by itself. I began to imagine that someone I cared for was trying to get in touch with me from the other side. Three years ago the movements stopped only to be replaced by a knocking noise. Sometimes the table knocks softly and at other times it is quite loud. It continues throughout the night at intervals of between five and fifteen minutes. Can you explain it?

Although it could be the contracting of the table's wood that causes the sound it has been known for spirit people to use tables to communicate with the living. A group of mediums will sit with their hands on a table. It will either tilt to tap out messages with its legs or make a knocking sound to answer questions. I've tried it myself and it works but would advise that only skilled mediums try this technique as your own thoughts can influence the messages.

MUM BREAKS THE NEWS

When my husband was in the army he had an affair. He admitted this to me and that there was a pregnancy that we were told came to nothing. Thirty years later I started 'seeing' my mother's ghost. She seemed to be trying to tell me something. I became so concerned that I even went to her grave and asked "What's the matter mum? What are you trying to tell me?"

Shortly after these spirit visits we received a shocking phone call. My husband had a daughter who was now thirty years old! I know that mum will come again if I need her. Without her warning the shock would have been far worse.
