CITRINE:
This
is a form of quartz that has a yellow coloration. It gets its name from
"citrus" (Latin) a citron (a fruit like a lemon) Much of the natural
citrines may have started out as amethyst but heat from nearby magmatic
bodies may have caused the change to citrine. The coloration of the stone
can vary from yellow to orange tones. Superstitions claim that it is a lucky
crystal- so certainly one to carry when doing the lotto!
