As a non-believer a very
peculiar thing happened to me which unlike a dream
is still very vivid in my mind. One Saturday afternoon
there was a fire in my scullery and I was rushed off
in an ambulance suffering badly from smoke inhalation.
I am 69 years old and was very close to death. In
the ambulance I found myself looking down on the scene
of myself and the two paramedics. One said to the
other as they tried to resuscitate me "Is it
worth while" to which the other replied 'We'll
have to keep trying". I woke up in hospital but
this 'dream' is still very very clear.

Reply: Your experience
was real. Many Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses believe
in out of body experiences (OBE's) that happen to
people who have near death experiences (NDE's). It
is one of the strongest proofs for life after death.
Blind people who have had a OBE have suddenly been
able to 'see' whilst out of their bodies. They have
quoted the numbers on the defibrillator and anaesthetic
machinery and described the colours and designs of
the surgeons clothes.
