According to the dictionary intuition is 'immediate
mental apprehension without reasoning; immediate insight.'
It's something that we all take for granted, yet is
it not remarkable that somehow we can come to correct
conclusions without having all the fact to hand and
without using reason? How is it that we can form an
immediate assessment of a person the first time we
meet them and find that our initial insight is proved
to be correct. And why is it that we can sometimes
make a correct guess at a direction to travel or guess
the answer to a question and get it exactly right?
What is it that gives us these immediate insights?
Behind our normal consciousness lies the vast untapped
world of the unconscious. Here, are locked away billions
of memories and incredible skills that we never use.
Every one of us is a secret genius. The unconscious
is capable of amazing creativity, inventiveness and
mental agility. For example, experiments with hypnosis
have shown that it is possible to remember just about
anything. Things that are impossible to remember normally,
such as what you had for lunch on May 14th 1984, can
be recalled with perfect clarity during hypnotic trance.
All of this knowledge is locked away in the unconscious
and can be utilised if we allow our intuition to do

most people it remains a mysterious force that works
when we least expect it.

In order to become attuned to the intuition you will
need to become more aware of the psychological forces
that lie below the surface of the conscious mind.
You must listen to your inner voice, trust your hunches
and pay careful attention to the content of your dreams.
If you do this you will become in harmony with yourself
and unlock creative powers that you never realised
you had.

INTUITION - DREAM POWER
The hidden power the intuition often reveals itself
in dreams. The intuition is at work while we sleep
and can sometimes offer solutions to problems through
dreams. During the day your unconscious mind may have
noticed something about a person or a situation and
will bring this to your attention through a dream.
For example, you meet a friend then that evening have
a dream about them being ill. You noticed nothing
wrong with them. However your unconscious may have
observed telltale signs of an illness. The tone of
the complexion, a imperceptible odour, a slight quiver
in the voice- all these subtle signals may be unconsciously
observed and then brought to your attention during
sleep when the intuition is allowed to function.

In many cases the intuition gives us an answer to
a problem or provides us with information that it
is impossible for it to know. The most obvious of
these is if we have an intuitive glimpse of the future.
There are thousands of documented examples of precognition
and clairvoyance. For example, there are cases on
record of people who have dreamed of disasters such
as the Chernobyl nuclear accident or had a premonition
that Princess Diana would die. Others have claimed
to have dreamed of a winning horse or found the correct
location of a lost object through a dream or by a
sudden intuitive insight while awake.
