Like attracts like. In the spirit world you will come together with those you love most and who you are bound to by a higher 'Overself'. The people who have troubled you in life will go their own way. However when the purpose of your life is revealed to you then you may see that the negative people were sent to test you for a specific reason.

Despite the pain they've caused, you may understand that they are not evildoers but sent so that you may spiritually flower. God gives his hardest tests to his most advanced pupils.

I split up with my ex-husband seven years ago because he had a drink problem. Eventually I met someone else and my divorce came through. He disappeared soon after this and about a year later they found his skeleton in a bushy area of a field. I have tried to make contact with him through Spiritualists and psychics but to no avail. Do you think that he hates me?

Don't blame yourself. Drink can do terrible things to people and was the root cause of his death. Once in the Spirit world your ex would have been cared for in the healing halls to bring him face to face with his actions in life. It would take some time before he is whole again. Just because you have had no spirit contact from him doesn't mean that he hates you.

HEALING THE WOUNDS OF DIVORCE

I was divorced from my first husband over 20 years ago after he had an affair with my best friend. I was utterly devastated as his mother encouraged him in his liaison. I was left with two little girls to care for and our house had to be sold. I was understandably bitter.

The mother-in-law in question died 5 years ago and my girls went to the funeral. Since then I keep having a dream of her. In it she tells me I was always a good wife and she missed me. I am very puzzled. She never did approve of me when I was married to her son. She thought I was a neurotic snob.
