FAQ: DO
PETS & ANIMALS SURVIVE DEATH?
Do
pets survive death?
Pets cannot talk
so we cannot receive communication from them telling us
that they have survived death. What we do have, however,
are our relatives and friends who communicate and tell us
that they have such and such a pet with them who is now
living with them in the spirit world. So, yes, they certainly
do survive death and have a continued existence in the spirit
world.
What is not known,
however, is how long that existence lasts as spirit teachers
tell us that animals do not have individual spirits as humans
do but are part of a group spirit. What they also advise
us is that as long as we love and need that animal it will
continue to be with us so we need have no fear about any
pets we may have living in spirit - when we think of them,
the energy of our thoughts reach out to them and they are
aware of our love.

MY KNOWING PETS
I am a pensioner living alone and have become very close to my dog Penny and cat Kirin. Just like your other correspondents I feel that my pets know exactly what I'm thinking. I'm sure that they respond to my thoughts. Perhaps, over a long period of time, they develop similar personalities to their owners because of our telepathic influence. I'm a gentle and placid person and both my pets, since they were rescued from homes, have now developed a similar temperament to myself.
However, pets also respond to our routines. For example Penny always knows when I'm to take her with me visit my friend as I go the same time every week. Penny and Kirin also know when I'm to return home as they sit in the window waiting for me.
To test whether they were sat there the whole time I was away, on a number of occasions I've returned home to sneak a look. They weren't in the window. Only when I decided to return home early and go back in doors did they appear. On one occasion I arrived at my normal time but stood outside in the street talking to my friend for some time. At the exact time I thought that I'd better go indoors Kirin and Penny jumped up onto the window. Pets have an amazing sense of timing but they could be psychic as well!

I'm sure that both animals and humans have an internal clock that helps us develop routines such as getting up in the morning at the right time. It is interesting that your pets took no notice when you returned home with no intention of going indoors but did react when you made a positive thought to enter your home.
