Do We Survive Death?
Mediumship indicates that the personality, with all its quirks, idiosyncrasies and memories, survives death. It is reassuring to know that the dead we love continue in the next word. They remain just as we knew them but minus their bodily aliments.
But this is not the final spiritual goal - for what is the personality? Who are you? The personality is only the outer trapping of something greater, it is not your quintessence. The goal of human life is to realise your divinity, to directly merge with the God within us. A Buddhist will tell you that the personality and the self are illusions. The real you is the consciousness within which is never born into either in the material world or the heavenly world. The best place to realise this inner divinity is here on Earth. The spirit planes are just a sojourn between lives.

A MESSAGE FROM THE ADMIRAL
My late husband loved Red Admiral butterflies and he would always make a comment about them whenever they came into our garden. On the day of his funeral, a red admiral flew into my room and I took it as a symbol to say that my husband was now safe. Some years later, my daughter June died hospital. In my grief, I called out to my husband in spirit ‘Show me a sign to prove that June is all right’. As I finished speaking, a red admiral butterfly landed on my arm!

Don’t ask me how they do it, but somehow the spirit world give us signs to prove that they are all right. Have any other readers been show a sign or omen? Perhaps it proved the afterlife or maybe predicted the future? Write and tell me about it. .
